Mile High Mutts

Mile High Mutts is a small business whose only concern is quality pet care. Our goal of superior customer service and satisfaction will take dedication on the part of all staff members and vendors. The vision manifests itself in three ways: Our keys to success will be providing high quality day care and overnight kenneling, competitive pricing, and excellent customer service.

We are a fully insured facility and we have a relationship with Dr. Amy Rupp Urban Vet Care if a problem were to arise. We adhere to strict cleaning and deodorizing standards to make the stay here pleasant and safe for the dogs as well as the owners.

Cristal and Marcus Newell and their Great Dane named Oberon (pictured left) are the cofounders of Mile High Mutts and have a long history in the pet industry. A graduate of the Virginia Tech University, Cristal has a bachelor's degree in Equine Science and a bachelors in Business from the University of Phoenix. Cristal has worked in various veterinarian offices as well as held an internship at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. She has competed in local and national horse events and has had a serious love of animals all her life. Marcus Newell is a graduate of Loyola University with a degree in History and Northeastern State Illinois University with a degree in English Literature. His work with children has been very helpful because, as we all know, dogs are just like kids.Cristal and Marcus are married and consider themselves a "mom and pop shop". In addition to their Great Dane Oberon they have 2 young sons Liam and Tristan. They hope to offer exceptional care and courtesy to all customers.
